HVAC Technician Assistant Position

We are actively seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Technician Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will assist with installing, servicing, and repairing heating and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial environments.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, is comfortable working independently, and takes pride in completing jobs efficiently with a positive attitude.

HVAC Technician Assistant Responsibilities

• Repair or service HVAC systems to improve efficiency

• Perform tasks such as changing filters, cleaning ducts, and refilling non-toxic refrigerants

• Establish customer rapport to ensure high levels of satisfaction

• Test pipe or tubing joints for leaks using proper tools

• Test electrical circuits or components for continuity

• Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring

HVAC Technician Assistant Qualifications

• Past experience as an HVAC installer or assistant, or comparable education

• Valid driver’s license

• Experience with HVAC system operation and maintenance

• Ability to climb ladders, crawl, and lift at least 40 pounds

Plumbing Assistant Position

Comfort City Mechanical is also hiring a Plumbing Assistant to support diagnostics, service, and installation work in residential and light commercial environments.

This role is well suited for someone who values quality work, communicates professionally with customers, and enjoys the satisfaction of a job well done.

Plumbing Assistant Responsibilities

• Assemble pipe sections, tubing, and fittings using appropriate tools and materials

• Install pipe assemblies, valves, appliances, and fixtures

• Plan plumbing layouts using drawings

• Perform maintenance on water supply systems

• Install and maintain gas and liquid heating systems

• Communicate clearly with customers regarding work orders and job status

Plumbing Assistant Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of professional plumbing experience

• Water heater and boiler experience is a plus

• Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment

• Valid driver’s license with good driving history

• Understanding of residential, commercial, and industrial plumbing

• Must have tools for residential and commercial plumbing
